The universe within | العالم الأكبر
A line that folds the outer universe into the inner self sets the tone: “وتحسب أنك جرمٌ صغير وفيك انطوى العالم الأكبر” (And you think you are a small body, while the greater universe unfolds within you). It offers a quiet shift in perspective—a reminder that vastness isn’t always out there, but often exists inwardly. The work takes cues from manuscript traditions, not to imitate them, but to rework their structure into something more open, patterned, and introspective. It's a meditation on proportion—on how what feels minor or internal might hold the weight of something much larger.
